About

Waltham boasts a diverse population, and many of its youth speak something other than English as a first language. Through this program, Bentley students support 4th-grade students at the Whittemore Elementary School as they aim to read at a proficient level. Bentley participants will serve as mentors and academic coaches the Whittemore students, who may face various barriers to learning. Students will attend twice per week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, leaving Bentley at 1:35 p.m. and returning by 3:05 p.m.
